This is a collection of sex-related discussions and incidents from book 1, beginning and book 2/1, travelling.
‘You know,’ Alice said, suddenly somber. ‘I wish we could just face all the sex issues and then move on. So many things are more important than our sexuality. But our sexuality fucking fucks with us.’

Originally, I only wanted a fun opening line for book 2 and eventually settled on: ‘We need to talk about sex.’ But I couldn’t make the opening work, and so book 2 got its subtitle, and a lot more on sex than expected. In fact, the sex-talk, as the team in the story calls it, has its own journey within the journey.
I would say that the most varied discussion takes place on Copacabana Beach, the most heartbreaking incidents are in Argentina and South Africa, the most intriguing speculation is probably about the penis trauma, and the greatest fun is most likely the ball in Russia.
I usually treat the subject with curiosity and bluntness, or to quote Alice:
‘No, Leo. This whole fuss about our sexuality is one of the major things that screws with us. We have to dig in bluntly to unearth everything we humans have made weird.’
book 2/1, travelling, San Francisco, US
And it probably helps that I am not exclusively interested in the subject, or to quote Alice:
‘You know,’ Alice said, suddenly sombre. ‘I wish we could just face all the sex issues and then move on. So many things are more important than our sexuality. But our sexuality fucking fucks with us.’
book 2/2, travelling, Russia
On the other hand:
‘I have been thinking about sex on and off for some years. And I can’t help feeling that somewhere in all of this mess, beauty and horror, there is an important key. Sex makes up so much of our lives and cultures.’
book 2/1, travelling, Happy Flying, US
For the impatient reader, I compiled a collection of sex-related extracts from book 1 and 2/1. I also put together a compilation of extracts relating to the speculations about a penis trauma.
Q&A
Reading order, single chapters and extracts
Yes, you can read book 2 before book 1, or just the one or the other.
All books after book 1 will have a recap with relevant scenes and information about the previous book(s).
Yes, you can read a single country chapter. Each single chapter has a recap with things you need to know for that part of the story.
Extracts usually don’t contain significant spoilers and focus on discussions or statements which require little or no story background.
Payment options
If you don’t want to use PayPal, contact me via the leisure lane, and we will figure out a way that suits you best.
VAT
All prices are the same internationally and include VAT. This means that my earnings differ from country to country while every reader pays the same worldwide.
If the VAT on you invoice is incorrect, please contact me.
Prices
Prices are determined by the word count, a top up for publishing and a universal VAT, hence the fancy numbers.
The price is always the same whether you buy single chapters of book 2 or one of the two halves of book 2.
File format
The default file format is ePub. If you have any trouble with reading the file or if you would prefer a pdf or another format, just send me an email or use the leisure lane.
Amazon
Amazon doesn’t allow anyone to sell Kindle files outside their platform. Since I decided not to work with Amazon, my book is not available for Kindle.
I guess that I am not even allowed to give you permission to convert my file into an Amazon file. So I won’t.
Why the hassle? Well, selling through Amazon would contradict everything the town experiment in my book series stands for.

No data will be given or sold to any third party.

What’s this all about sex?
Book 2 is about a team, travelling around the world to further an international network for a town experiment. The sex talk is just one in many issues which keeps coming up. You can find a list of the main sex topics included in book 1 and 2 here >>>
When will there be a publisher?
One of the key points in the book series is to rethink the way we do business. This is why I hope to find people who are interested in testing new business models as well as a sustainable approach to publishing. For more, please contact me >>>

About an hour later, Alice felt a rush of excitement.
book 2/2, travelling, Flight to Beijing
Could this be an explanation? Of sorts?
She had to talk to someone. But who? Who would be open enough to even think about this?
Alice stared at the screen in front of her, then back at the notepad she had been scribbling on.
Leo. Of course. Leo.
This collection includes extracts from both parts of book 2, travelling.
While the issues are very serious, there is also humour and some intriguing speculations.

- The penis trauma, Flight to Beijing
- Bulges and urges, Russia
- Making each other, Otaon
- Is this how rape happens? Romania
book 2/1, travelling
- Your dick is not a weapon, your breasts are not a means to an end, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Nku killed her, Cape Town, South Africa
Leo was silent. Alice heard that he opened a tap and let water run into a glass. Then she could hear his gulps. And then he gasped. ‘Alice,’ he said with panic in his voice. ‘You have to stay out of this.’
book 2/2, travelling, Flight to Beijing
‘But Leo, this could be important.’
‘No! Yes, it could be. And that’s why you — a woman — have to stay out of it. If you want this theory to get the attention it might deserve and if you don’t want to repel men from actually giving it a thought, then this is a matter men should deal with on their own.’
