In summer 2021, I took some time to review my photographic work from 2007-2021. And repeatedly I was reminded of techniques and approaches in photography I hadn’t thought about or worked with in a while.
As a consequence I decided to put together some photo studies which are as much a reminder to myself as they are about sharing my work approaches and ideas with other photographers and those who are interested in photography.
I guess that over time I will add a few more studies, and I will probably extend and refine the photo studies and the texts you can find so far.
You are welcome to contact me if you would like to discuss anything about photography. Write to firstname.lastname@example.org

This photo study compares images taken with a still camera and images taken with a camera moved during the process of taking of the image. Moving the camera can mean to move it up, down, sideways or diagonally or to use the lens’s zoom. In order to get an interesting result, the exposure time usually needs to be extended.
